A foothills roof
West of the village the country gets hillier and more wooded. FireSmart Alberta recommends Class A roofing and advises against wood shakes, and we can build the roof as Class A Fire Rated Available, as a complete assembly, with two layers of GAF VersaShield® over 12 mm (15/32-inch) plywood. No roof is fireproof.
Matching the outbuildings
On an acreage the house, barn and shop can share one profile and colour. The Cremona roofs in our book include Slate and Cedar Shingle, and each building is priced on its own line.
